Just a laid back, polite, friendly lady that loves to share my love of anime and other hobbies with others out there. I live in the OC here in Socal and when
I'm not working, I'm on the internet, reading manga, watching my fave anime and TV shows, playing video games, I'm a Nintendo fanatic. I don't
go out and party or go clubbing I'm just a simple, humble nerdgirl.
The first anime I can remember was the Adventures of Unico back in the early 80s, then Project A-ko, I got my nickname "Diko" from the A/B/C-ko girls and also the first letter of my real name being "D" Diko or "D" girl. I have been an anime and manga fan ever since. Rumiko Takahashi and Clamp have to be two of my favorite manga storytellers. I worked at Disneyland for 4 years on Main St. and they were some of the most endearing years of my life. I work at Bank of America doing Business Lending and it will soon be the end of me if I don't find something else soon.
I am a lover of everyone and I always look for the good in people.

Excited for Anime Expo!!

Nothing remotely interesting ever happens in my life so I'm really excited to go this year because I didn't get to go last year and there are some guests of Honor that I want to see, too. Haven't picked out an outfit yet, still looking. I will take as many pictures as possible and bring some here to the board. Less than two weeks away!!

And I'm not talking about the Wii Mii, but I came across a site where you can make a pretty decent looking 3D avatar of yourself w/ a cool choice of animations, styles and customizations. I think it's a fun way to post your picture without having to put your real photo across the internet.

They delayed the Wii Fit again! AArrrgghhh I had plans for that! Oh well it's not that far off...I was going to try to use it to lose weight and keep track of it, like those extreme ppl who were using DDR as a major tool for weight loss. I'm going to go all out and take before/after pix and all that shniz-nah. I'm so excited, but not nearly as excited as if Nintendo will announce a Kid Icarus for the Wii.

I might post a new music video on my profile soon I'm getting a bit annoyed at the AL happy ending song. Although it's a great AMV.
Last 2 days of my vacation, really not looking forward to going back. Better make the best of it. Today I will go pick up Chinese and watch either my UY boxsets or Unbeatable Banzuke.

Still deciding what to wear to AX this year. I went to Game Quest and got a brand new never used copy of FF8 (my favorite out of them all so far) and was thinking maybe I could wear a SeeD uniform!! I don't look like any of the students, at least not Selphie or Quistis, but hey just a generic Balamb Gardens student. It's either that or Sweet Gothic Lolita.
It looks somewhat comfy and it's DARK if any of you have been to Anime Expo here in Socal you KNOW it's desert hot... -

...might as well begin a blog here, too. I have a Livejournal too ^_^
I'm probably not going to cosplay this year for Anime Expo I haven't lost my desired weight, so I may have to settle for a cute sweet lolita outfit instead. I added an Urusei Yatsura amv on my profile, I am not really a big fan of Avril Lavinge, but the song fit with the clips and I thought it was cute.
